At this point, OpenAI has made a name for itself due to its creation of the most well-known generative AI platform ChatGPT. Even though ChatGPT is now a household name, OpenAI has adapted it technology to create life-like images and storyboards. This platform called Sora, was released last month and let us tell you it is pretty unbelievable in terms of image and video generation.
What does it do?
Sora is an AI model that can create videos from text prompts with the capability of making videos that are up to a minute long. The difference between Sora and other image or video generators is that the image quality is one of, if not the best, we have seen from AI to date.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with AI image and video generation, it is pretty easy, and it all depends on the detail level of the prompt. The possibilities are endless with Sora, or however creative your mind can get! Here are multiple prompts our Futures team tested out. See how impressive the results and image quality are for yourself:
Prompt: An impressionist video of a tiny fairy in a dark gloomy forest during sunrise, moving around, waving a wand, and sprinkling fairy dust
Prompt: Give me a wintery scene with children sledding down a hill. It should be around dusk, with a very serene mood
Prompt: Give me a real-life looking rabbit eating a carrot in the middle of a forest. The rabbit should be in the middle of the forest with a lot of greenery around it and there should be lots of sunshine
Prompt: Give me a video of a woman walking down a beach during the sunset. Lots of soft colors, very zoomed out
