It’s true that AI tools can save you from a failing grade (assuming you don’t use them so blatantly that the institution grading your paper catches on), but let’s set survival mode aside for a moment and focus on what separates good work from truly great work. To make it great, you still need plenty of supervision.

You might be proud of the pasta you made last night using Barilla noodles and some pesto from the same brand (not affiliated with Barilla, but if they want to send me free pesto, I won’t say no). Yet, a fancy chef from SoHo could use the same ingredients and create pasta worth $100, and while it probably won’t actually be worth that much, the point is that there’s a difference.
Your dish might cost around $1.20 (don’t ask me how I came up with that number), and both of you used the same noodles. The pesto and everything else — that’s where the secret sauce lies.
