Apple is said to be preparing “one of the biggest iOS updates — if not the biggest” in the form of iOS 18, which is set to be previewed at WWDC24 in summer ahead of a public release later this year, with Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman saying that he will share new iOS 18 details in future reports.
Speaking in his weekly Power On newsletter on Sunday, in which Gurman says Apple will likely launch new iPad Pro and MacBook Air models “around the end of March,” the journalist claims that inside Apple, iOS 18 “is seen within the company as one of the biggest iOS updates — if not the biggest — in the company’s history.”
Rumors suggest that iOS 18 will include generative AI features across a wide range of the default Apple apps, including Messages, Apple Music, Pages, Keynote, and Siri.
Apple traditionally hosts its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in the month of June each year, with the new operating systems previewed during the event launching in fall.
The post iOS 18 to be ‘one of the biggest iOS updates — if not the biggest’ to date, says Gurman first appeared on The Apple Post.
