DZYNE Technologies Acquires High Point Aerotechnologies to Expand Defense Capabilities

DZYNE Technologies ("DZYNE"), a prominent developer of autonomous technologies, has announced the strategic acquisition of High Point Aerotechnologies ("High Point"), a renowned global leader in air defense technologies focusing on counter-uncrewed autonomous systems ("C-UAS"). This acquisition represents a major step in DZYNE’s growth, enhancing its autonomous technology offerings.
The acquisition integrates a range of defense technology solutions, including autonomous aircraft technologies for long endurance ISR and launched effects, counter-UAS solutions, AI/software technologies, and mission operations capabilities. This synergy allows DZYNE to leverage its over 12 years of expertise in autonomous defense technologies, extending its reach into the C-UAS domain.

DZYNE is known for its rapid development and deployment of advanced autonomous aircraft systems, consistently pushing the technological limits of autonomy while reducing costs. Its long-endurance uncrewed aircraft, LEAP, and ultra-long-endurance uncrewed aircraft, ULTRA, offer unmatched endurance, payload capacity, and affordability.
Al White, CEO of High Point, will continue to manage the C-UAS business within DZYNE as EVP of Air Defense Technologies. Following a planned leadership transition, Mr. Matt McCue has succeeded Dr. Tom Strat as DZYNE’s CEO, with Dr. Strat continuing as a Board member. The company also announced the appointment of Mr. Jeff Payne as Chief Financial Officer, Dr. Jeff Maas as Chief Technology Officer, Hon. Christopher C. Miller as Chief Strategy Officer, Mr. Joseph Francescon as Chief of Government Affairs, and Mr. Davey Gibian as Head of AI Strategy. Chief Revenue Officer Mr. David Levy will continue in his role.
DZYNE and High Point are both part of the portfolio of Highlander Partners, a Dallas-based private investment firm.
