Google’s ImageFX AI Image Generator Is HereImage by Jim Clyde MongeIn case you missed it, Google recently introduced a huge update to Bard, enabling the AI chatbot to generate images. Alongside Bard, Google also unveiled ImageFX, a tool for creating AI images powered by the Imagen 2.0 model.
In this article, I’ll demonstrate how to access and use ImageFX and share some images I created while exploring the application.

What is the ImageFX Image Generator?ImageFX, developed by Google AI, is a web application designed to showcase the capabilities of the new Imagen 2 model in generating AI images.
It’s part of Google’s AI Test Kitchen, a platform where users can experience and provide feedback on Google’s latest AI technologies.
How it WorksHead over to the ImageFX web application and login with your Google account. If you’re outside the US, Kenya, New Zealand, or Australia, use a VPN to change your location to one of these regions.
ImageFX dashboardInside ImageFX, you’ll find a large prompt field on the left and the results panel on the right. It’s a really simple and intuitive user interface.
Next, describe the image you want to generate in the text field and click on the “Generate” button. Here’s an example:

What stands out in ImageFX’s UI is the ability to modify parts of the prompt directly. For instance, switching designs is as easy as selecting different options from a drop-down menu.
